We are looking forward to hosting you this Saturday for the final race of the 46th Annual Snowball Series presented by Running Niche & Saucony...our new addition to the series: The Lafayette Square 1 Mile! Please read below for important information about race weekend.
Race Location & Parking
The 1Mile race begins at 8:30am at the corner of Mississippi Ave & Park Ave. The course will travel south on Mississippi, and run a clockwise loop around Lafayette Park, finishing on Park Ave in front of the Lafayette Square Fountain.
Street parking is available in the areas around Lafayette Square and the Park. Please note that if you park along the Lafayette Park, you won't be able to leave until between 8:40-9:00am, depending where along the course you park. Please do not park where there are temporary No Parking signs!
Be sure to visit Park Ave Coffee, which is located right by the finish line. They will be open all morning with coffee drinks and gooey butter cake for sale. Please be sure to support this great local business!
Swag & Bib Pickup
If you haven't already picked up your swag, you can do so on race morning near the Lafayette Square Fountain, just past the finish line. If you have not yet received your bib or your swag, we recommend arriving closer to 7:30am to avoid long lines. Once you've finished your race, you can proceed to the Start 2 Finish tent in the post-race area (just past the finish line) and get your swag.
Remember that series participants keep the same bib throughout the series, so please remember to use the bib you were given for the last race you participated in. Non-series registrants who do more than one race will need a new bib for each race. If you happen to misplace your race bib, please check in with registration staff before the race to be assigned a new race bib. If you have not joined us at any of the first three races, check in at the packet pickup tent between 7:30 and 8:30am to get your bib.
